Show Notes

In this episode, I have a special guest, Dr. Nicole Bringer, and we’re going deep into the topic of pelvic floor health, symptoms you should be looking out for,, myths and misconceptions around it, what you can do to strengthen your pelvic floor, and so much more. Did you know that leaking urine isn’t the only sign of pelvic floor dysfunction? Low back pain, TMJ, a belly pooch, painful sex, and SO many other things can be linked back to a tight or weak pelvic floor.

Dr. Nicole is a Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist who's been working in Physical Therapy for the past 12 years. Her training includes an Associates, Bachelors and finally a Doctorate degree from Grand Valley State University. She's CAPP-Obstetric certified through the American Physical Therapy Association and has specialized training in pelvic floor exams and visceral mobilization.

Overcoming her own physical hurdles during pregnancy and after the birth of her three boys along with helping hundreds of clients live vibrantly after childbirth has proven to her that moms CAN and SHOULD use strength & movement to overcome pain and avoid dysfunction throughout motherhood.
